It’s your senior year, you’ve finally made it. Congrats! I was a senior once, so I know just how important this time is in your life. These are the best days of your life and you will want to cherish these memories forever. I am committed to helping you create pictures that represent who you are, and customizing a package that will fit all your needs.

Let’s get started:

First and foremost you will need to decide upon a photographer to do your pictures and set up an appointment.  Secondly, you will need to decide the style you would like for your pictures (I will help you with this). Then you will need to choose a package that meets all your needs. That just about sums it up. Please note that I am here to help you and your family every step of the way to make this milestone in your life be the best that it can be. I know how exciting this time can be and so I want this to be a stress free experience for you.

Ten tips for great Senior Portraits:

Sleep! Make sure you get a least 2 nights of good sleep before your photo session so that you will look fresh and won’t have bags under your eyes. Beauty sleep is real…

Hair care. Guys, get a hair cut at least 1 week before session. Also, take the time to get a close shave. Girls, if you plan on coloring your hair or getting a new style, also allow at least 1 week to get used to the style.

Clothing Suggestions. Express yourself!! Deciding what to wear for your portrait session is     important. Bring multiple outfits (formal & casual) that express who you are. Solid colors and long sleeves photograph best. Bring matching shoes, socks, and accessories to complete your outfits. Iron wrinkled clothes prior to your session.

Make-up. Girls bring your make-up, hair spray and curling iron to do touch ups. Make sure that your face make-up is blended into your neck so that when you look in the mirror your neck in not too white. Also check to see if you have tan lines that will show with the different outfits you are going to wear. Bring chapstick or lip gloss to keep you lips moist.

Blemishes. Retouching is included in your final portraits. Girls, don’t use too much make-up trying to hide blemishes. It will be easier to retouch your prints if you keep a more natural look.

Glasses. If you wear glasses, bring an extra pair of frames without lenses, if possible.

Smile. I will take your portrait with and without you smiling. If you don’t like your smile, get in front of a mirror and practice it. Once you like a smile, close your eyes and smile, then open your eyes to see if it looks the way you want. Get used to how it feels to smile the way you think you look best.

Personality. Having your picture taken with what you enjoy will create unique portraits. Consider bringing letter jackets, uniforms, sports equipment, and musical instruments to express your interests, making your portraits personal. Bring any other props, pets, family members you would like to use. We can also use a motorcycle or car in your portraits if you choose.

Bring a friend. It can be really fun to have your pictures taken at the same time as your friend. Ask me about our friend celebration portrait session if you are interested in saving 10% on your final package order.

Finishing touches. Guys, make sure your fingernails are nicely trimmed. Girls, pamper yourself with a manicure and pedicure the day before.

Most of all...RELAX and HAVE FUN!!!
